Maybelline Colossal Volum' Mascara Review

Loving this mazzy! The brush is amazingly thick and definitely adds incredible length and volume! It helps to hold curl and doesn't weigh my lashes down. My lashes are long and full after applying this and they look like false lashes.

My only dislike is that after a few hours, there are black flakes under my bottom lashes where the mascara has dried up. It somehow manages to smudge as well (panda eyes are a no-no) Also, it is quite tricky to remove ALL of it as some product still hangs on for dear life :)

Overall, I highly recommend this mascara as it is affordable and AMAZING! Plus, the packaging is very eye-catching.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

I purchased this product before Christmas and it came with a Maybelline Colour Sensational Cream Gloss. The packaging looks a bit dated in my opinion and reminds me of art deco for some reason. So, its not the exterior of this product that appealed to me. I've seen this around for AGES but hadn't got round to trying it out.
It's definitely not the worst mascara out there, but then again, it's not the best. Layering is quite tricky because you have to work fast before it dries or else it clumps up. It does a great job at defining and colouring lashes as it is really black! (Hence the name 'Blackest Black) The formula is rather 'runny' compared to other mascaras and I really don't like the wand because it's so small and isn't special at all. However, it is good at applying on the lower lashes as the wand is small enough to coat them without messing up the skin around your eye. As for lengthening, it's pretty average so there isn't alot for me to say. I HATE that it makes my lashes stick together and I wouldn't recommend this mascara for everyday use - I much prefer the Colossal Volum' one instead.

Maybelline One By One Mascara Review

I really do like this mascara as a quick everyday item. The brush is made of flexible rubber bristles which make it very easy to apply and build up. Also, I have found that having a brush of this type means that I don't have to move my hand around as much, compared to other mascaras. It is of a very comfortable size as it isn't too big or too small - it's a nice, medium size. It doesn't feel dry and it doesn't harden my lashes so that they are stiff.
However, as with most mascaras, it does flake a bit when I rub my eyes even if I try to avoid moving my lashes.
Overall, it is definitely worth investing in as it is so affordable and certainly does 'the job' :)

ELF Powder Brush Review

What they say:
"This new antibacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products.

- Creates a professional sculpted look
-Full coverage colour
-Use for powder or blush for perfect contouring"

I absolutely LOVE this brush!! This is the best flat top brush you can get for such a low price so no wonder it is one of E.L.F's best selling brushes! It is full of soft, sturdy hairs that are amazing at buffing in products. Washing this brush is incredibly easy and I haven't experienced a major amount of shedding. I find this brush perfect for applying powder foundations rather than liquids even though it works well for them too. It is definitely worth investing in this brush as it is only £3.50!
The only downside is that the handle on my brush has come slightly loose over time :(
I can't wait to buy another and I recommend this brush 100%!!

Recent Haul!

Heyy! So, recently I went shopping with my mum down to Oxford Street and we bought a few things. When I say 'we', I mean my mum and when I say 'a few things', I mean more than a few...
We only really went to two shops; H&M and Primark. We initially went to the H&M near Oxford Circus because it has a home department and I wanted to buy some things for my newly decorated room ('oooooh' I hear you say!). I can post a few pictures of my room if you want? Back to the story, to put it bluntly, the shop wasn't top notch. Most things were out of stock and they didn't even have curatins which was the main reason why we went there...
But, that didn't put me off splurging on clothing!
Here's what I bought from H&M:

I'll post pictures of the shirts a got from Primark another though :)

Click here to shop at H&M online.
Although Primark don't have online shopping, click here to visit their website.
